Privacy Policy
Human3 (“Human3,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the longevity data commons — an open platform where people submit protocols, bloodwork, and results, and the community verifies them into evidence anyone can check. Because our platform handles health information, your privacy is fundamental to how we build. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, when it becomes public, and the choices you have.
- Your raw bloodwork and lab files stay encrypted and off-chain. Only cryptographic hashes and attestations are written to the Base blockchain.
- Anything you choose to publish to the commons (a protocol, a verified result) becomes public and open by design.
- We do not sell your personal information.
- Data written to a public blockchain is permanent and cannot be edited or deleted.
- Human3 is a research and information platform — not medical advice.
01Information we collect
We collect information you provide directly, information generated as you use the platform, and information from third-party services you connect.
Account & identity
When you create an account we (and our authentication provider) process your email address and/or the address of your embedded or connected wallet. You may add a display name, avatar, or profile details.
Health & research data
To participate in the commons you may submit health-related information, including bloodwork and lab reports, biomarker values, protocols, compounds and doses, timelines, wearables or self-reported metrics, and notes describing your experiments and outcomes.
Content & community activity
We process the submissions, reviews, verifications, votes, comments, and reputation associated with your account, along with the points and rewards you earn for contributions.
Connected accounts
If you link a social account (such as X/Twitter) or another service, we receive the identifiers and profile data that service shares with us, subject to your permissions there.
Usage, device & log data
Like most online services, we automatically collect technical data such as IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, actions taken, timestamps, and referring pages. We also use signals to help detect and prevent fraud and abuse (for example, duplicate-account or “sybil” activity).
Cookies & similar technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, secure the platform, and understand usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings; some features may not work without them.
02How we use information
- Operate, maintain, and secure your account and the platform.
- Verify submissions along our graded trust ladder (automated checks and community peer review).
- Calculate contributions, points, rewards, leaderboards, and reputation.
- Publish verified protocols and results to the commons when you choose to share them.
- Enable community features, and — where offered — connect you with licensed telehealth and related services.
- Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, sybil behavior, and security incidents.
- Analyze and improve the platform, and develop new features.
- Communicate with you about your account, updates, and support requests.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
Where required by law, we rely on legal bases such as your consent (including explicit consent for health data), performance of a contract, our legitimate interests, and legal obligation.
03Health & sensitive data
Bloodwork, biomarkers, and related health information are sensitive. We process this information only to provide the platform’s core functions — verification, publication (when you choose), and research features — and, where the law requires, only with your explicit consent, which you may withdraw at any time.
Raw health files and identifiable medical data are stored encrypted and off-chain. We minimize what we collect, restrict internal access, and never place raw medical data in anything the public site or blockchain can read.
Human3 does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Nothing you submit or read on the platform is a substitute for professional medical care.
04Blockchain & on-chain data
Human3 is built on the Base blockchain. To make results independently checkable, we write cryptographic hashes and attestations — not your raw data — to the chain. A hash lets anyone confirm that a result has not been altered without revealing the underlying medical file.
Information recorded on a public blockchain, and any wallet address associated with it, is public, immutable, and permanent. It cannot be changed or deleted by us or anyone else, and on-chain activity may be linkable to your wallet. Please consider this before you publish.
05Automated processing & AI
We use automated tools — including optical character recognition (OCR) and AI models — to read lab documents, extract biomarker values, screen for tampering, and assist verification. These tools support human and community review; you can contact us if you believe an automated decision about your submission was made in error.
06The public commons
The commons is open by design. When you choose to publish a protocol or a verified result, the associated content — such as the compound, dose, biomarker changes, verification status, and your chosen public handle — becomes publicly visible and may be browsed, cited, aggregated, or replicated by others.
You control what you publish. Content that you keep private is not published to the commons, though metadata and attestations you have already committed on-chain remain permanent as described above.
08Data retention
We keep personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the platform, and thereafter only as necessary to meet legal, accounting, security, or dispute-resolution obligations. Off-chain data can be deleted or anonymized on request, subject to those obligations. Data already committed to the blockchain cannot be deleted.
09Your rights & choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you and request a copy.
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Delete your off-chain personal information (subject to legal limits and the permanence of on-chain data).
- Port your data to another service.
- Object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent for health-data processing.
- Opt out of non-essential communications at any time.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@human3.app. We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law and may need to verify your identity first. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
10Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards — including encryption of sensitive data, access controls, and monitoring — designed to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Keep your wallet keys and login credentials confidential; anyone with access to them may access your account.
11International data transfers
Human3 operates globally, and your information may be processed in countries other than your own, where data-protection laws may differ. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) for cross-border transfers.
12Children’s privacy
The platform is intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
13Third-party links & services
The platform may link to or integrate third-party sites and services, including wallet providers, social networks, and partners. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, and we encourage you to review them.
14Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the platform after an update means you accept the revised policy.
